Pedestrian Struck and Killed in Ocean City

OCEAN CITY, MD – The Ocean City Police Department is investigating a fatal pedestrian collision that occurred on Monday, at approximately 9:39 p.m. in the area of 46th Street and Coastal Highway.

“The preliminary investigation determined the pedestrian was in the roadway and not in a marked crosswalk. The vehicle that struck the victim was traveling northbound on Coastal Highway at the time of the collision,” police reported. “Lifesaving efforts were initiated by police officers and Ocean City EMS. The pedestrian was pronounced deceased on the scene.”

The pedestrian has been identified as Noah Day, 22, of Elkton, MD. The driver, a 44-year-old male from Berlin, MD remained on the scene.
