LINCOLN, DE – Police have arrested an 18-year-old in connection with a shooting that took place on Wednesday and announced another suspect remains at large.

18-year-old Samuel Mondestin of Seaford was arrested for reckless endangering and other charges following the shooting.

According to Police, at approximately 3:07 p.m., troopers responded to the 10000 block of Greentop Road for a report of shots fired.

“The ensuing investigation revealed that two subjects in a Toyota Corolla had fired several gunshots at a nearby residence before fleeing the area,” police reported. “At the time, the home was not occupied by its three inhabitants, a 58-year-old male, a 56-year-old female, and a 22-year-old male. No one was injured in this incident, and the home itself was not struck by gunfire. Troopers located the Corolla on Haflinger Road soon afterward, and operator Samuel Mondestin was taken into custody at the scene without incident.”
