FBI, Pittsburgh Police Move In on Suspected Child Pornographer

PITTSBURGH, PA – A Pittsburgh man has been arrested after a long investigation between the FBI and the Pittsburgh Police Department.

Following a months-long investigation, Pittsburgh Police, with the assistance of the FBI, arrested Eric Jefferson at his residence in Polish Hill on May 18.

“Jefferson, 39, faces multiple felony charges including rape, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, indecent assault, and dissemination of intimate images,” police said. “He is currently being held in the Allegheny County Jail without bail.”

Due to the nature of the evidence gathered during the ongoing investigation, police believe there may be additional victims.


Detectives are asking anyone who thinks they may have been victimized by Eric Jefferson, or know someone else who was, to contact Detective Ryczaj or Detective Ossman at (412) 323-7761.
