Bowie Carjacker Who Beat Victim Arrested

BOWIE, MD – A Bowie man wanted for a violent carjacking at the Shell gas station on Tuesday, June 7th. According to police detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police, 26-year-old Louis Katty Telliano, was arrested and charged for an attempted carjacking.

According to polcie, at approximately 10:49 a.m., 3rd District officers responded to the Shell/Dash In gas station in the 11100 block of New Hampshire Ave. for an attempted carjacking call.

“The investigation by detectives determined that the adult male victim was pumping gas when the unknown suspect entered the front passenger seat of the car and began searching for property. The suspect then exited the car and began to beat the victim, and knocked him to the ground multiple times. He then demanded the victim’s car keys and ran away. The victim was transported to an area hospital for his injuries,” police reported.


Telliano was arrested and transported to the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit (CPU) where he has been charged with carjacking. He is currently being held without bond.
