23 Year-Old Man Shot And Killed in D.C. Double Shooting

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department is investigating the shooting of two men that left a 23 year-old man dead in Northeast, D.C. . This incident took place yesterday on the 500 block of 50th Street.

According to police, “At approximately 12:41am, members of the Sixth District responded to the listed location for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival the members located two adult male victims suffering from gunshot wounds.  DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and transported the victims to area hospitals for treatment. After all life-saving efforts failed, one of the victims succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.”

 23 year-old Markel Ford, of Northeast, DC. was identified as the victim.
