61-Year-Old Arrested in Windsor Mill Shooting

WINDSOR MILL, MD – A 61-year-old man was arrested for his role in a shooting in Windsor Mill on Saturday.

Police said 61-year-old William Mints was charged with first-degree assault after a shooting that occurred at around noon.

Baltimore County police officers responded to the 7500 block of Windsor Mill Rd., 21244, for a reported shooting.


“When they arrived, officers located Mints, who remained at the scene, and a man in his 20’s suffering from an apparent gunshot wound,” Baltimore County Police said. “Medics transported the gunshot victim to an area hospital, where he remains in stable condition, suffering from what appears to be a non-life threatening injury.”

Mints, who suffered only minor injuries, was treated at the scene. Mints remain held at the Baltimore County Detention Center without bond.
