Busy Weekend for Howard County Police, Here’s What Happened

HOWARD COUNTY, MD – Police in Howard County had a busy weekend. The department has released the following crime blotter reports of police activity between June 24-27.

Robbery 
Columbia, 21046: 
9700 block of Clocktower Lane, June 24 1 p.m. 
An adult female victim reported that she was approached by a male suspect who implied a gun, threatened her, and stole her cell phone before fleeing. No one was injured. 
SUSPECT: Black male, approximately 5’10” with a thin build, black and yellow shoulder-length dreadlocks, wearing a black shirt and orange pants 

Commercial burglary
Columbia, 21046: 
Harris Teeter, 8600 block of Guilford Road, June 27 2:53 a.m. 
Unknown suspect(s) entered the business by prying open the front door and stole prescription medication. 
 
Theft from vehicle/vehicle break-in
Columbia, 21046: 
7200 block of Lee Deforest Drive, June 24 5:15-7:45 p.m., purse
