Gang of Teenagers Beat and Rob 72-Year-Old Philadelphia Grandmother in Center City

PHILADELPHIA, PA – A gang of juvenile delinquents are being sought by Philadelphia Police after they beat and robbed an elderly woman on Willings Alley in Center City.

Central Detective Division is seeking the public’s help identifying the individuals seen in a video clip released today by police.

According to police, on June 23, at approximately 6:10 PM, the victim, a 72-year-of-female, was walking in the 400 block of Willings Alley when she was punched and kicked causing her to fall to the ground.

“While on the ground the suspects took the victim’s iPhone and wallet which contained ID cards, credit cards, $50. The victim was transported to Pennsylvania Hospital where she was treated for her injuries,” police said.


The suspects are described as a black male juvenile, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants and gray sneakers; a black male juvenile, wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt with the word “Fairwold” on the front, brown pants and dark shoes; and a black female juvenile, wearing a pink hooded sweatshirt with the words “Good Vibes” on the front, blue jeans and dark shoes.
