Philadelphia Police Seeking Gun Violence Suspects

PHILADELPHIA, PA – Police are searching for two suspects wanted for a shooting in the city last week.

The Philadelphia Police Department and the Shooting Investigation Group is asking for the public’s assistance for information in reference to this shooting incident.

On June 23, 2022, at 12:17 am, the victim was on the 2400 block of N. Reese St when he was approached by a male operating a dark colored Nissan Sedan. While the victim was distracted, a second male approached on foot, brandished a firearm and attempted to force the victim into the vehicle. After a brief struggle both suspects fired several shots and fled in the Nissan sedan. The victim was transported to Temple Hospital after suffering a single gunshot wound to his elbow and listed in stable condition.

  • Suspect Description:
    Suspect #1: (driver) light complected male, 17-20 years-of-age with short dreadlocks.
    Suspect #2: Black male, heavy set, dark complexion wearing a dark blue “Nike” hooded sweatshirt.
