16 Year-Old Hears Gunshots, Realizes He was Shot in Central Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting that left a 16 year-old shot in the leg on July 5th. This incident happened on the 1200 of Division Street in Central Baltimore.

Police say, “At approximately 4:27 p.m., officers responded to the 500 block of Dolphin Street for a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located a 16-year-old male who was suffering from a gunshot wound to his leg. The victim was transported to an area hospital with a non-life-threatening injury. Central District shooting detectives are investigating this incident and have learned the victim was walking in the 1200 of Division Street when he heard gunshots and realized he had been shot.”
