Severn Man Woken Up by Bullet Shattering Bedroom Window

SEVERN, MD – A man sleeping in bed in his house in Severn was woken up by a bullet fired into his home by an unknown assailant.

Police said on Monday, at approximately 10:40 p.m. officers responded for a gunshot fired in the 1300 block of Jay Bird Court in Severn.

“The homeowner advised a bullet came through his rear window while he was sleeping, damaging the window and blinds,” police said.


No injuries were reported. Police did not say whether or not the man was the intended target of the shooting.
