Baltimore Police Make Arrest in Attempted Murder

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – The Baltimore Police Department has made an arrest in the shooting of a 40 year-old man on March 27th. 25 year-old Dionte Johnson was arrested on July 1st and charged with attempted 1st degree murder.

Investigators believe Johnson shot the man following an argument that took place on the 2200 Block of East Lanvale Street in Eastern Baltimore.

Detectives say, “On March 27, 2022, at approximately 4:37 p.m., Eastern District patrol officers responded to the 2300 block of East Biddle Street to investigate a shooting. Once at the location, officers located an unidentified male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the neck. The victim was transported to an area hospital in critical but stable condition.”
