Suspect Charged for Box Cutter Assault in Jessup

JESSUP, MD – Police have arrested 62-year-old Tyler Wayne Jackson of Warsaw, Virginia for an attack with a box cutter against another man he was arguing with on Wednesday.

Police said at approximately 3:50 a.m. officers responded for an assault that occurred between co-workers at a business located at 2112 Montevideo Road in Jessup.

“Two males were arguing when one assaulted the other with a box cutter causing a minor, non-life-threatening injury,”the Anne Arundel Police Department said. “The suspect drove off but later returned. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment. The suspect was arrested and charged accordingly.”
