Two Stabbed, One Dead in Jersey City Double Stabbing

JERSEY CITY, NJ – One man is dead and a woman was injured in a double stabbing in Jersey City on Tuesday. The suspect in the attack remains at large and police have not released any details regarding the suspect.

According to police, on Tuesday at approximately 6:42 a.m., members of the Jersey City Police Department responded to 196 Clinton Avenue on reports of an aggravated assault.

“Responding officers found a 22-year-old woman with a serious apparent stab wound. The woman was transported by Emergency Medical Services to Jersey City Medical Center where she remains in stable condition,” police said. “At approximately 10 a.m., the Jersey City Police Department was notified an injured person was located at 186 McAdoo Avenue. Responding officers found the lifeless body of a man – later identified as Jason Khusial, 21, of Jersey City – with multiple apparent stab wounds. “

He was pronounced dead at the scene at 10:14 a.m. The Cause and Manner of Death are pending the findings of the Regional Medical Examiner’s Office.


A preliminary investigation determined Khusial had also been injured during the Clinton Avenue incident.
