Brazen Broad Daylight Carjacking in Philadephia Caught on Camera

PHILADELPHIA, PA – A man was carjacked by a mob of black males on West Fisher Avenue on Tuesday. After being assaulted, the carjackers pulled him from his vehicle where he had no choice but to let the violent mob take off with his car.

The entire event was captured on a nearby video surveillance camera. Now, the Philadelphia Police Department’s Northwest Detective Division is attempting to identify the individuals responsible for this strong-arm robbery.

According to police, on Tuesday, the victim was parked inside of his 2007 Hyundai Elantra on the 600 block of West Fisher Ave when he was approached by several male offenders.

“The males began to assault the complainant in an attempt to take his vehicle. After sustaining minor injuries, the complainant was able to exit his vehicle and leave the scene without further incident. The offenders drove off with the complainant’s vehicle towards 10th street. No weapons were used during this robbery,” police said.

The suspects were all described as black male teenagers wearing dark clothing and surgical masks.
