Police Searching for Teen Murder Suspects who Beat 72-Year-Old Philadelphia Man to Death

PHILADELPHIA, PA – Police in Philadelphia are searching for a group of teenagers wanted for killing a 72-year-old man on Friday, June 24th.

Police today released video footage of the teens who at around 2:38 am that night,  in the 2100 block of Cecil B. Moore Avenue, shot and beat a 72-year-old male victim to death.  Police said the elderly man was attacked by four black male and three black female teen offenders.

“The teens struck the victim several times with objects, knocking the victim to the ground causing injuries to his head. The victim was transported to the hospital where he died of his injuries the following day,” police said.


A $20,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest and conviction.
