Woman Shot While Driving Car on Oakmont Avenue in Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MD – A woman driving her car through the Central Park Heights neighborhood of Baltimore heard a gunshot and realized she had been struck by the bullet. She was able to driver herself to the hospital.

According to police, Monday, at approximately 12:39 p.m., Northwest District patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim.

“Once there, officers located a 30-year-old female suffering from an apparent non-life-threatening gunshot wound, being treated by doctors,” police said. “Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was driving in the 3700 block of Oakmont Avenue when she heard discharging and realized she was shot.”
