Wicomico County Woman Charged for Dealing Heroin

SALISBURY, MD – A 50-year-old woman has been charged for dealing heroin ouut of a hotel room in Salisbury. Members of the Wicomico County Sheriffs Office Community Action Team (CAT) conducted an investigation into Lisa Marie Hackett distributing heroin and fentanyl from a hotel room located on the 2600 block of N Salisbury Boulevard

“CAT had received several tips that Hackett is selling drugs,” police said today. “During the early morning hours of July 8, 2022, members of CAT established surveillance on the room and observed Hackett leaving. A vehicle stop was conducted where Hackett was taken into custody on an unrelated outstanding warrant. A K-9 scan was conducted of the vehicle that resulted in a search.”

Police said a search of the vehicle and Hackett revealed 102 bags of suspected heroin.


“A search and seizure warrant was then written for the hotel room and served. A search of the room revealed an additional 13 bags of heroin, and 1.10 grams of suspected heroin,” police said. “Additional paraphernalia indicative of CDS distribution and usage was located in the room. Hackett was served with the outstanding warrant as well as numerous CDS charges to include PWID heroin/ fentanyl and maintaining a common nuisance.”

Hackett was transported to the Wicomico County Detention Center and released. Hackett was originally held without bond and then on July 11, 2022 a judge set a bond of $10,000.00.
