Armed Robbers in Northeast D.C. Arrested

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department has made an arrest in an armed robbery that took place on July 7th. This incident happened on the 4500 block of Benning Road in Northeast, D.C.

According to investigators, “At approximately 1:30 pm, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect brandished a handgun and took the victim’s property. The suspect fled the scene.”

26-year-old Jeff Porter of Northeast, D.C. was arrested on July 11th and charged with Armed Robbery.
