D.C. Camera Captures Bank Robber

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Third District Detectives at the D.C. Metro Police Department is investigating an unarmed bank robbery that happened on July 11th in Northwest D.C. This incident took place on the 1600 Block of 17th Street.

Detectives say, “At approximately 11:38 am, the suspect entered a bank located at the listed location. The suspect approached the tellers and demanded US currency. The tellers complied and the suspect fled the scene.”

Surveillance cameras captured the suspect on video.
