ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – On Wednesday, a woman jumped from the top floor of a parking garage at a casino in Atlantic City. Police at this time are investigating the incident, but, according to witnesses, at this time, foul play is not expected.
The Atlantic City Police Department said that around 7:20 PM, patrol officers were dispatched to Harrah’s parking garage in the marina district for a report of a woman threatening to jump from the garage.
“Officers arrived to find the woman had jumped from an upper-level floor of the garage. Officers spoke with security personnel who reported seeing the woman intentionally jump,” police reported.
Atlantic City Emergency Medical personnel arrived on the scene, and the woman, a 60-year-old from Rio Grande, Cape May County, was pronounced deceased.
