Sister Smothered and Killed Younger Sister in Attempt to Quiet Her Down in Florida Hotel Room

The Almonte Springs Police Department arrested 16-year-old Charlise Bell after she put a pillow over her sister’s head to quiet her down, suffocating and killing her. The toddler was rushed to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Her sister is now facing manslaughter charges.

On Friday, the Altamonte Springs Police Department responded to Raymond Avenue after a call was made regarding an unresponsive juvenile. The juvenile was transported to the hospital, where she was pronounced deceased.

Police said the preliminary investigation revealed that Charlise Bell had placed a pillow over her sister to quiet her down. When she returned to the room, her sister was unresponsive.
