Man Charged for Assaulting Child at Jersey Shore Daycare

GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP, NJ – A New Jersey daycare worker was charged for assault after a 2-year-old child at the school was found with bruises on his face.

Police investigated and arrested Jaime L. Price, 36, of Egg Harbor Township, an employee at Children’s Academy in Galloway Township.

He was charged with two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Simple Assault.


“Price voluntarily surrendered and was arrested on July 18, 2022. Galloway Township Police Department would like to thank the Division of Child Protection and Permanency for their assistance and would also like to acknowledge and thank the owners and staff of Children’s Academy for their cooperation while we investigated the incident,” police said.
