“We are holding a Beach Bash on Saturday, July 23, beginning at 6 p.m. This family-friendly event will be held in the parking lot and beach on 3rd Avenue,” the organization said in an event bulletin on Facebook.

Suggested donation for attendance: $20 per family.

There will be food trucks including Road to Ohana, Bunz n Dumpz, Simply Sofrito, and Minnie’s Weenies.

“Sit and enjoy the DJ after dinner or join some of the organized games on the beach,” organizers posted. “Enter to win gift baskets filled with gift certificates and goodies donated by local businesses. We will also hold a 50/50 raffle. Friends of Ortley Beach t-shirts will be available for sale, including new v-neck and tank top designs.”

Once the sun goes down, get comfortable and watch the exciting fireworks! Special thanks to Dakan Homes and The O’Shea Group-Keller Williams Shore Properties and their generous donation that makes this evening possible.
