Armed Gunmen Storm New York City Church During Pastor’s Sunday Service, Steal $400k in Jewelry

NEW YORK, NY – A group of armed and masked gunmen stormed a Brooklyn youth outreach center on Remsen Avenue on Sunday, brandishing guns and taking jewelry.

According to the New York City Police, at around 11:14 am. the three gunmen enter the church and order the pastor and congregants to the ground and begin robbing them.

His last words to his congregation was, “How many of you have lost your faith because you saw somebody else die?”


Pastor Lamor Whitehead was speaking to his congregation at Leaders of Tomorrow International Ministries in Brooklyn when the attack took place. He was the same bishop who negotiated the surrender of a New York City subway shooter that had killed a Goldman Sacks employee in May.

After the incident, Whitehead said wants the ability to conceal carry firearms in New York.
