Leonia Police Investigating Series of Wednesday Morning Car Burglaries

LEONIA, NJ – A number of cars were broken into Wednesday morning in Leonia and police are asking residents to check their vehicles and doorbell video security cameras.

“The Leonia Police Department is investigating reported car burglaries that occurred this morning between 3am and 4am in the south east section of the borough,” police said. “The suspect in the video is wearing a black hat, black shirt, black pants and black shoes.”

The suspect appears to be a tall thin male. If your car was entered this morning or if you have video/information that will help identify this suspect, please call Leonia Police Department at (201) 944-0800.
