BRICK TOWNSHIP, NJ – Under New Jersey’s bail reform act, lawlessness and brazen attacks that were once reserved for the big cities are happening more frequently these days at the Jersey Shore. Why not? Suspects in carjackings, robberies and assaults are usually out of jail before their victims are released from the hospital.

Now, after a year full of car thefts and carjackings across Ocean County, smash and grab robberies are here.

According the Brick Township Police Department, detectives are investigating two commercial smash and grab burglaries. Both incidents occurred overnight on Tuesday.

Police did not release the names of the business or the locations, but said one of the suspects can easily be identified by a large v-shaped unibrow.

According to police, one suspect was a younger male with a distinct unibrow, maroon pants, dark colored basketball sneakers with a light blue under the sole and a black colored hooded sweater with the words “Pennington”.

The second suspect was a younger male wearing dark-colored sweatpants, dark-colored shoes and gloves. He did not have distinct unibrow

These individuals are responsible for multiple commercial burglaries in the area. Anyone able to identify these subjects, please contact Detective Ryan Talty 732-262-1170 or email rtalty@brickpd.com
