Rockville Police Offer $1,000 Reward After Goose Found Murdered in New Mark Commons

ROCKVILLE, MD – Police in Rockville are searching for three boys, aged 13-15 who were responsible for the killing of a goose near Lake New Mark, a private lake in the New Mark Commons HOA community.

According to police, on Sunday, between 8:00 pm and 8:30 pm, several boys were seen in the area of a goose family of four. Neighbors heard a goose in distress and three of them fled frantically away. The boys were spotted running from the scene.

The fourth goose was found dead in the water. Police are asking any witnesses to come forward and for the boys involved to turn themselves in.
