BERKELEY TOWNSHIP, NJ – Two captains of the Berkeley Township Police Department have retired. Mayor Carmen Amato and the township council, joined by Chief Kevin Santucci gave Captain Philip Smith and Captain George Dohn a farewell send-off at this week’s meeting.

“Each honorably served the residents of Berkeley Township for over 30 years. Their selfless dedication to this town did not go unnoticed,” Mayor Carmen Amato said. “We give a special thank you to their families for supporting them throughout their career.”
