Aberdeen Township Police Blotter: Here’s What’s Happened in July

ABERDEEN TOWNSHIP, NJ – Acting Chief of Police Matthew Lloyd of the Aberdeen Police Department has released a police blotter incident report of police activity for the month of July.

According to Chief Lloyd, the Aberdeen Township Police Department made the following arrests between July 1st through July 31st, 2022:

• On July 1st, 2022 a 22-year-old male resident of Aberdeen, NJ was charged with eluding following an incident on Bayview Street. Ptl. John Palumbo was the arresting officer.
• On July 2nd, 2022 a 47-year-old male resident of Freehold, NJ was charged with driving while intoxicated following an incident on Lloyd Road. Ptl. Nicholas Perrone was the arresting officer.
• On July 3rd, 2022 a 41-yuear-old male resident of Keyport, NJ was charged with driving while intoxicated and contempt of court on a warrant issued by the Red Bank Municipal Court. Ptl. Nicholas Perrone was the arresting officer.


• On July 3rd, 2022 a 39-year-old male resident of Jackson, NJ was charged with contempt of court on warrants issued by the West Long Branch and Hazlet Municipal Courts. Ptl. John Palumbo was the arresting officer.
• On July 4th, 2022 a 39-year-old male resident of Union Beach, NJ was charged with contempt of court on a warrant issued by the Sayreville Municipal Court. Ptl. Mohamed Mahmoud was the arresting officer.
• On July 5th, 2022 a 42-year-old female resident of Hazlet, NJ was charged with shoplifting and contempt of court on a warrant issued by the Middletown Municipal Court. Ptl. Marcus Neal was the arresting officer.



• On July 6th, 2022 a 18-year-old female resident of Aberdeen, NJ was charged with harassment following an incident on Idlebrook Lane. Ptl. Nicholas DaRocha was the arresting officer.
• On July 6th, 2022 a 20-year-old female resident of Aberdeen, NJ was charged with criminal mischief following an incident on Idlebrook Lane. Ptl. Vincent Schifini was the arresting officer.
• On July 12th, 2022 a 46-year-old male resident of South Amboy was charged with driving while intoxicated following an incident on Beach Drive. Sgt. Raymond Campbell was the arresting officer.
• On July 13th, 2022 a 46-year-old male resident of Middletown, NJ was charged with CDS (Heroin) and possession of prescription drugs following an incident on Lloyd Road. Ptl. Christopher Vetter was the arresting officer.


• On July 16th, 2022 a 29-year-old female resident of Aberdeen, NJ was charged with a violation of a court order following an incident on Prospect Avenue. Ptl. Liam Gallagher was the arresting officer.
• On July 22nd, 2022 a 51-year-old male resident of Aberdeen, NJ was charged with criminal sexual contact following an incident on State Highway 34. Ptl. Nicholas Darocha was the arresting officer.
• On July 22,2022 a 47-year-old male resident of Old Bridge, NJ was charged with theft of property lost following an incident at Shoprite Food Store. Ptl. Jose Veliz was the arresting officer.
• On July 27th, 2022 a 28-year-old female resident of Middletown, NJ was charged with simple assault following an incident on Church Street. Ptl. Matthew McDow was the arresting officer.


• On July 27th, 2022 a 64-year-old male resident of Aberdeen, NJ was charged with contempt of court on a warrant issued by the Ocean County Sheriff’s Office. Ptl. Frank Maisano was the arresting officer.
• On July 30th, 2022 a 36-year-old male resident of Aberdeen, Nj was charged with driving while intoxicated following an incident on County Road. Ptl. Evan Guastaferro was the arresting officer.
