Hidden Gem: Teresa’s Osaka Asian Bistro One of the Best Sushi Houses at the Jersey Shore

TOMS RIVER, NJ – Are you looking for fresh, delicious-tasting sushi during your next trip to the Jersey Shore? Then check out Teresa’s Osaka Asian Bistro on your way east toward the barrier island in Toms River.

Located on Route 37 east in Toms River, it’s a 10-minute drive from your motel room or shore house in Seaside, Lavallette, or Orltey Beach.

Not only is the food great here, but the staff is too. We’ve been here a few times now and have never been disappointed. In fact, we now pass the dozen or so sushi places between Jackson and Toms River on our way to Teresa’s Osaka for the great, fresh tasting food, friendly staff and the experience.

Inside, you’ll feel like you walked into a sushi house in Japan. It’s not ultra modern like many of their competitors in the area. It’s far from the industrial setting you might find at some of the large hibachi and sushi restaurants. It features a separate sushi bar room, indoor and outdoor patio dining.

To top it off, it’s connected to Rich’s Ice Cream, one of Toms River’s top ice cream spots for an after-dinner dessert.
