HOWARD COUNTY, MD – The following incidents took place in Howard County between August 1st and July 3rd. These incidents do not represent all calls by HCPD officers during this period.

Commercial burglary
Elkridge, 21075: 
Strickland Services, 6100 block of Washington Boulevard, Aug. 1-2 overnight 
Unknown suspect(s) entered the property and stole landscaping equipment. 

Clarksville, 21029: Kendall’s Hardware, 12200 block of Clarksville Pike, Aug. 2 10:25 p.m. 
A male suspect entered the business by prying open a garage door and breaking a glass door. The suspect fled without stealing anything when confronted by an employee.
SUSPECT: White male in his 20s with a beard, no further description


Theft from vehicle/vehicle break-in
Columbia, 21045: 
7200 block of Lasting Light Way, July 31-Aug. 1 overnight, catalytic converter
8700 Cloudleap Court, Aug. 1-2 overnight, tires, cash 

Columbia, 21044: 5200 block of Cedar Lane, July 31-Aug. 1 overnight, airbag, car computer system

Laurel, 20723: 9300 block of Kings Post Court, Aug. 1, registration 

Columbia, 21046: 9500 block of Quarry Bridge Court, Aug. 2, landscaping equipment
8700 block of Elias Howe Drive, Aug. 2-3 overnight, multiple vehicles: catalytic converters

Jessup, 20794: 10600 block of Iron Bridge Road, Aug. 2-3 overnight, catalytic converter
8200 block of Patuxent Range Road, Aug. 2-3 overnight, catalytic converter
