WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Metro Police Department in Washington D.C. is investigating an armed robbery that took place on July 30th. This incident took place on the 2800 block of Alabama Avenue in Southeast, D.C.. Detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying and locating the suspect and vehicle involved.
According to investigators, “At approximately 5:35 pm, the suspect entered an establishment at the listed location. The suspect brandished a handgun and demanded property. The suspect took property from a display case then fled the scene.”
A nearby surveillance camera captured the suspect and vehicle.
