Two $50K Powerball Tickets Won in Middlesex and Ocean County

TRENTON, NJ– Two very lucky NJ Lottery tickets matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball drawn winning the $50,000 third-tier prize.

Those tickets were sold at Shoprite on Roosevelt Avenue in Carteret; and Welsh Farms on Route 88 in Brick.

The winning Powerball numbers for the August 3rd drawing were: 09, 21, 56, 57, and 66. The Red Power Ball number was 11. The Power Play was 2X.

According to lottery officials, “26,314 New Jersey players took home an estimated $138,184 in prizes ranging from $4 to $200. The Powerball jackpot resets to $20,000,000 for the next drawing to be held Saturday, August 6, at 10:59 pm.”
