Man Stabbed at Yankee Stadium Subway Station

NEW YORK, NY – A 33-year-old man was stabbed inside Yankee Stadium subway station on Sunday. The incident had nothing to do with the team as they were playing the Cardinals on the road in St. Louis at the time of the attack.

According to the New York City Police Department, at around 1:30 pm on Sunday, inside the 161st Street station, a man was approached from behind while riding down the escalator and stabbed by an unknown subject.

The extent of the victim’s injuries is unknown and today, police released a video of the suspect involved in the attack.
