Man Getting Dressed Behind Annapolis Business Busted for Heroin and Fentanyl Possession

ANNAPOLIS, MD – Police saw a suspicious man getting dressed behind an Annapolis business Monday night and investigated.

According to police, at approximately 8:05 p.m., officers were called to the area of the 2300 block of Solomon’s Island Road in Annapolis for a report of a suspicious male looking in vehicles.

“A responding officer located the suspect at the rear of the business attempting to put on a black pair of pants he was pulling from inside of a vehicle that didn’t belong to him,” police said. “The male was taken into custody and found to be in possession of 26 capsules of suspected heroin/fentanyl, he was charged accordingly.”


Brett Wesley Shumaker, 41, of Harwood was charged.
