16 Year-Old Arrested In D.C. For Violent Brick Attack

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department is investigating an assault that left one man hospitalized on Monday night. This incident took place on the 500 block of G Street in Southeast, D.C.. A 16 year-old juvenile male of Southeast, D.C. was arrested on August 8th and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon.

According to investigators, “At approximately 9:34 pm, two suspects approached the victim at the listed location. One of the suspects assaulted the victim with a brick. The suspects then fled the scene. A short time later, one of the suspects was apprehended by responding officers. The victim was treated for non-life threatening injuries.”
