Two Shot in Southeast, D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department is investigating a shooting that left two men hospitalized early Tuesday morning. The shooting took place on the 2900 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue in Southeast, D.C.. The police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the vehicle involved.

According to police, “At approximately 1:35 am, members of the Seventh District responded to the listed location for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, members located two adult male victims suffering from a gunshot wound. The victims were transported to local hospitals for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.”

A nearby surveillance camera captured a vehicle of interest.
