Suspect in Tyrone Walker Shooting Murder Arrested

BALTIMORE, MD – Police in Baltimore have announced an arrest in the murder case of 37-year-old Tyrone Walker, which occurred on June 5th. Baltimore Police Department detectives today have arrested 28-year-old Dana Davenport.

Investigators believe Davenport shot and killed Walker while in the 200 block of South Loudon Avenue.

Davenport has been charged with first degree murder.


On that date, at approximately 8:28 p.m., Southwest District patrol officers responded to the 200 block of South Loudon Avenue for a report of a shooting. Once there, officers located a 37-year-old male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital where he later died.
