Police Vehicle Involved in Crash in Toms River

TOMS RIVER, NJ – A Toms River Police Department patrol cruiser was struck by a vehicle on Route 37 near Fischer Boulevard late Sunday night.

“We are currently on the scene of an accident involving a police cruiser responding to an emergency call and was T-boned by an oncoming vehicle. It remains under investigation at this time,” police said.

At this time, the cause of the crash had not yet been determined by police.
