JACKSON TOWNSHIP, NJ – Dawson Palmarini was just 17-years-old when he was involved in a serious motorcycle crash that left him with a serious brain injury. Dawson was a student at Toms River High School East when the motorcycle he was driving struck a car making a turn in front of him.

He was flown to Jersey Shore Medical Center for treatment.

Now, along with his father, Dawson has made it his mission to visit police departments as he continues his recovery.

“This morning we had a visit from Dawson Palmarini, a young man who survived a horrible motorcycle crash 3 years ago, but unfortunately is living with a traumatic brain injury as a result,” the Jackson Police Department said today. “Dawson has made it his mission to visit every police department in the state of New Jersey, and today we had the pleasure of visiting with this fine young man! So far he has visited around 70 agencies on his Sunday road trips with his father! We wish him luck on his mission and on his continued recovery!”
