Shooting in North Braddock Kills One

NORTH BRADDOCK, PA – Police in Allegheny County are investigating after a Sunday evening shooting killed one person in North Braddock.

According to police, at approximately 6:33 p.m., County 9-1-1 was notified of a shooting in the area of Baldridge Avenue and Jones Avenue in North Braddock.

“First responders found a 29-year-old male victim shot in the chest and abdomen. The victim was taken to an area hospital in critical condition where he later died,” the Allegheny Police Department reported. “Officers of the North Braddock Police Department requested the assistance of the County Police Homicide Unit. Detectives initiated an investigation.”
