18 Year-Old Arrested And Charged With D.C. Murder

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington D.C. Metro Police Department have made a second arrest in the shooting death of a 17 year-old in Northeast, D.C.. Damari Deon Wright from Alexandria, Virginia was shot to death in a vehicle on July 9th, on the 3500 Block of Hayes Street.

Police say, “At approximately 5:26 pm, members of the Sixth District responded to the listed location for the report of sounds of gunshots. Upon arrival, the members located a juvenile male victim, in a vehicle, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and discovered the victim displayed no signs consistent with life. The decedent remained on the scene until transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.”

Previously, an 18-year-old male of Northeast, D.C. He was arrested charged with Second Degree Murder while Armed. On Monday, 18-year-old Kenneth Swann, of Southeast, D.C. was arrested and charged with Second Degree Murder while Armed.
