One Person Shot in Harrisburg

HARRISBURG, PA – One person was shot Monday night in Harrisburg. According to police, on Monday, at about 11:00 pm, the Harrisburg Police responded to the 2100 block of Penn Street for a report of shots fired with a person struck.

“Upon officers arriving in the area they did locate an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound(s). The male victim was transported to a local hospital for emergency medial care, and was last known to be listed in stable condition,” the Harrisburg Police Department reported. “An investigation into this incident was immediately initiated, and based on the preliminary investigation it is believed that the victim was the intended target. The investigation is ongoing at this time.”
