HOWARD COUNTY, MD – The Howard County Police Department has reported the following incidents that required police response in the past few days in their daily crime bulletin.
“The daily crime bulletin is posted each weekday when county offices are open and includes the initial reporting of various crimes such as robberies, burglaries, assaults, vehicle thefts, and theft from vehicles. It is not inclusive of all police activity in a day,” the department said in a statement.

Residential burglary
Highland, 20777: 13400 block of Allnutt Lane, Aug. 14-19
Unknown suspect(s) entered the residence by breaking a glass door and stole cash and jewelry.
Jessup, 20794: 10400 block of Guilford Road, Aug. 20 12:45 a.m.
A resident reported that she was awoken by a male suspect in her bedroom. The suspect fled when observed. Nothing was reported stolen.
Elkridge, 21075: 6800 block of Dorsey Road and 6900 block of Scarlet Oak Drive, Aug. 20 7:20 p.m.
Residents reported that sheds on their property had been broken into and a dirt bike was stolen from one of them. Police responded, located the suspect, and arrested him.
ARRESTED: Juvenile male, 16, of Elkridge, was charged with burglary, destruction of property and motor vehicle theft

6400 block of Washington Boulevard, Aug. 19 overnight, two vehicles: catalytic converters
Columbia, 21044: 10300 block of Swift Stream Place, Aug. 19-20 overnight, wallet
Columbia, 21046: 9400 block of Snowden River Parkway, Aug. 21-22 overnight, two vehicles: catalytic converters
Jessup, 20794: 8000 block of Washington Boulevard, Aug. 21-22 overnight, wallet
8100 block of Washington Boulevard, Aug. 21-22 overnight, unclear what, if anything, was stolen
Savage, 20763: 8500 block of Foxborough Drive, Aug. 22, various items
Vehicle theft
