Howard County Crime Report: Robberies, Burglaries and Break-ins

HOWARD COUNTY, MD – The Howard County Police Department has reported the following incidents that required police response in the past few days in their daily crime bulletin.

“The daily crime bulletin is posted each weekday when county offices are open and includes the initial reporting of various crimes such as robberies, burglaries, assaults, vehicle thefts, and theft from vehicles. It is not inclusive of all police activity in a day,” the department said in a statement.

Robbery 
Jessup, 20794: 
Dunkin’, 7900 block of Dorsey Run Road, Aug. 23 6:23 p.m.
An employee reported that a male suspect approached the counter, implied a weapon, and demanded cash. The employee complied and the suspect fled long with a female suspect. No one was injured.
SUSPECTS: Black male, approximately 5’11” with a medium build wearing all black clothing, and a white female, approximately 5’3”, 120 pounds, wearing a yellow hooded sweatshirt and black leggings

Residential burglary 
Laurel, 20723: 
9000 block of Thamesmeade Road, Aug. 23
Unknown suspect(s) entered two residences and stole video game consoles and accessories. 

Theft from vehicle/vehicle break-in
Columbia, 21045: 
7200 block of Cradlerock Way, Aug. 19-24, various items

Columbia, 21044: 5200 block of Brook Way, Aug. 23, tag

Laurel, 20723: 700 block of Mountain Laurel Way, Aug. 23-24 overnight, tools

Elkridge, 21075: 6500 block of Vert Drive, Aug. 23-24 overnight, wallet

Vehicle theft
Ellicott City, 21043:
 3000 block of Oak Green Circle, Aug. 22-23 overnight
