Harrisburg Police Investigating Fatal Crash

HARRISBURG, PA – The Harrisburg Police Department is investigating a Friday night fatal crash that happened after a vehicles crashed while driving on the wrong side of the road.

According to police, on Fridayat about 10:00 pm, the Harrisburg Police responded to South Cameron and Shanois Streets for a report of a two vehicle accident.

“Upon arrival officers located multiple victims suffering various injuries, including an adult that was declared deceased at the accident scene,” the department said. “The preliminary investigation indicated that the vehicles were traveling in opposite directions on Cameron Street, when one of the vehicles veered into the oncoming lane of travel.”

The Harrisburg Police Traffic Safety Unit responded to the accident scene, and the investigation is ongoing at this time.
