NEW YORK, NY – As schools across New York city get ready to open next week, the NYPD has announced the graduation of nearly 200 new school safety officers who will be patrolling school grounds this year.
“Just in time for the new school year, 193 School Safety Agents graduated surrounded by their friends and families. They will now serve as role models, protectors, and much more for students of NYC schools,” the NYPD said.
