D.C. Police Release Photos of Armed Robbery Suspect

WASHINGTON, D.C. – WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department is investigating an Armed Robbery that took place on May 27th. This incident took place on the 900 block of 13th Street in Northeast, D.C. The Carjacking Task Force is looking for help identifying the suspect.

Police say, “At approximately 11:50 pm, the victim was stopped at a red light at the listed location. A suspect, who was in a vehicle behind the victim’s vehicle, exited the vehicle and approached the victim. The suspect brandished a handgun and demanded the victim exit the vehicle. The victim complied and the suspect fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle.”

A nearby surveillance camera captured the suspect. If you have any information about this incident, please take no action but call the police at 202-727-9099 or TEXT TIP LINE by sending a text message to 50411. This incident remains under investigation.
