Jefferson Hills Coach Charged for Abusing Multiple Juveniles

JEFFERSON HILLS, PA – A youth sports coach in Jefferson Hills has been charged by police after multiple complaints were made regarding abuse to children ranging in age from ten to twelve years old.

On Tuesday afternoon, the Jefferson Hills Police Department received multiple complaints that several children ranging in age from ten to twelve years old had been sexually assaulted by youth sports coach, Eric Fairman, 26, of Pleasant Hills.

“The investigation has revealed that the reported sexual assaults occurred over the past several years. Jefferson Hills Police Department and County Police Detectives made notifications of the ongoing criminal investigation to all of Fairman’s known employers that involved contact with children,” the Allegheny County Police Department said.


This morning, charges were filed by warrant on Eric Fairman for eleven different incidents over the past several years involving four different victims.

“Fairman has been charged with assault by sports official, indecent assault, corruption of minor, unlawful contact with minor, and criminal use of a communication facility. Fairman turned himself in at County Police headquarters at approximately 7:00 a.m. this morning. Fairman will be transported to the Allegheny County Jail for arraignment,” ACPD said in a statement.
